Privacy Policy
The short version: no newsletter, no email harvesting, no advertising network, nothing sold to anyone. We do measure how the site is used, with Google Analytics, and that does set cookies. This page exists because the GDPR requires it, and because you deserve to know what happens on a page you did not ask to be measured on. The long version below is short on purpose.
What this website does not collect
- No Facebook Pixel, no TikTok Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag
- No newsletter signup, no email capture, no list you get added to
- No user account, no login
- No fingerprinting, no session replay, no heatmap, no behavior recording
- No retargeting, no advertising network
We never sell, rent or share your details with an advertiser. What we do measure, and the cookies that come with it, are described immediately below.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4
Until July 2026 this site used Plausible, a cookieless counter. It has been replaced by Google Analytics 4, because we needed to know which pages actually lead someone to contact us, and Plausible was no longer being read. We are telling you plainly rather than quietly, because GA4 is a different bargain:
- It sets cookies (
_gaand_ga_*), typically kept for up to two years, used to tell a returning browser from a new one. - It processes your IP address to derive an approximate location. Google states that IP addresses are not logged or stored in GA4, but the address is handled to get there.
- Google is the processor, and it is a US company. Data may be processed outside the European Union under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- What we look at: which pages are read, how people arrive, and whether a visit ends in a WhatsApp click, a phone tap or a form being sent. Nothing is tied to a name.
- We do not run advertising, remarketing or Google Signals on this property, and we do not build profiles.
If you would rather not be counted, you can block it: any content blocker, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or your browser’s “reject cookies” setting for this site will all stop it, and nothing on the site breaks if you do.
Data you actively send us
You can reach us through three channels: WhatsApp (+33 6 67 55 21 87), phone (same number), or the contact form on the website for guests without WhatsApp. Whichever you pick, you share:
- Your name (as you provide it)
- Your phone number or email (depending on channel)
- The content of your messages and any details you provide (dates, group size, pickup location, flight number)
WhatsApp conversations stay inside the WhatsApp app on our phone (encrypted end-to-end by WhatsApp). Form submissions go through Netlify Forms and arrive in our inbox; Netlify stores them for as long as the form is active. We use this data strictly to reply to you, to coordinate the boat operator and ground transport, and to handle billing if your booking goes through. We do not export, sell, share, rent or transfer this data to any third party for marketing purposes.
Data retention
WhatsApp conversations are retained on our device for as long as needed to manage the booking and for any post-trip follow-up. If you ask us to delete your conversation history, we delete it within 30 days.
Third parties
Four third-party services are involved in serving this website to you. They each have their own privacy policies:
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.), for messaging. See the WhatsApp privacy policy.
- Netlify, Inc., for hosting and form processing. Netlify keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested URL) for 30 days, and stores form submissions until manually deleted. See the Netlify privacy policy.
- Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC, for Google Analytics 4 audience measurement, which sets cookies. See the Google privacy policy.
- Open-Meteo, for the live sea-state reading (swell and wind) shown on some pages. Your browser requests the forecast directly, so Open-Meteo sees your IP address. No cookie is set and nothing about you is sent. See the Open-Meteo terms.
- Google Fonts, for loading the typefaces (Playfair Display, DM Sans). Google may log your IP when serving fonts. See the Google privacy policy.
That's the entire list. There are no other third-party services involved in your visit.
Your rights under GDPR

To exercise any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp at +33 6 67 55 21 87 with a clear request. We respond within 30 days, as required by the GDPR.
